Station

The vacation region on the coast of Navarino is located in the Greek province of Messenia. Here you will spend a relaxing vacation by the sea. The sparsely populated and agricultural coastal landscape is very attractive and original. Feel welcome in the small villages thanks to greek friendliness and hospitality. Historically, Messinia was important, therefore, there are many interesting artifacts and sights from times long past.

Please note that we will be using gravel bikes on our guided tours from the 2025 season. Road cycling tours are available on request. Hobby and fun-level groups start directly from the cycling station at Hotel The Westin Resort Costa Navarino. For guests at Zoe Seaside Resort and Imathoessa the meeting place will be arranged.

A separate station is available on the hotel grounds for guests of The Westin Resort Costa Navarino. The opening hours are the same. 

The bird paradise and the dream beach

Rent a gravel, trekking or e-bike and cycle through the enchanting Gialova Lagoon. Flamingos will fly over your head while you enjoy the silence and vastness of this unique nature reserve. Of course, a subsequent visit to the bay of Voidokilia is not to be missed. Let your soul dangle on this true dream beach.

Visiting the villages and towns of the region

Immerse yourself in Greek life and visit the villages of the region. Enjoy the cosy atmosphere in the hospitable taverns with tzatziki, souvlaki and Greek wine. Admire the historical sights and get to know the culture of the Messenians very closely. Especially the villages of Gialova, Pylos and Methoni are worth visiting.  

The ancient Olypmia: the home of the sports spirit

Those interested in culture and history should not miss this highlight. Ancient Olympia, which gave its name to the Olympic Games and has been a source of inspiration for thousands of years up to the present. The excavations around this ancient sanctuary of the Hellenes offer highly interesting insights into the past. The ruins tell stories of glorious exploits, sweaty competitions, victory and defeat in the face of the gods.
